I wanted to start out by saying how wonderful your dancers are and how much I love working with everyone of them. They are working hard in class and I am seeing great progress on our teams. Please continue to have your dancers stretch regularly at home and practice their skills and routines. All of their extra effort will pay off during our competition season.

While on the subject of our competition season, I wanted to again announce the competition dates. Our first competition will be March 17th & 18th at Roy High School, then we will be traveling to St George on April 21st & 22nd and performing at Dixie High School. The 2 hotels that you will be giving a discount to our dancers are Best Western Plus Abbey Inn located on 1129 South Bluff St, the phone number to reserve rooms is 1-866-599-6674 and Clarion Suites located on 1239 S. Main St, the phone number for reservations is 435-673-7000. Please mention that you are with Rocky Mountain Dance Competition to receive the discounted rate. PLEASE CALL AND RESERVE NOW!!! Their rooms will go fast!! Our last dance competition will be at Weber State on May 5th and 6th.

We have received our Hip Hop shoes and they will be posted to your account by the end of the week. We will start practicing in them next week, although your dancer will not be allowed to take them home until they are paid in full. Your account will be charged a late fee for them after October 17th. Your dancer has been fitted for their new dance shoes during their individual dance classes. We will be making one order for tights, dance shoes and dance bras on October 26th. This will be our only order prior to our recital. Please ensure that you get your orders in prior to October 26th. If their shoes, bras, and tights have not been paid in full we will not order them. You can pay for them online, in the office or call the office and pay over the phone.

We will be having Dance classes during Fall Break. We will NOT be holding Dance classes on Halloween Night, please be careful and have a great time!! We will be having our annual Trunk or Treat on October 28th from 4-6 pm at the Studio. We really had a great time at our last Trunk or Treat due to our parent involvement. Parents we would love to fill up our parking lot for our dancers. As you know, space is limited so please come in and sign up for a spot. If you would like to combine with another family that would be great. The sign up list will be posted in the office.

Our Rock n' Roll Christmas Recital will be held on December 17th at 2:00 pm at Clearfield High School. Please mark your calendar and save this date!! We are really excited to show off how wonderful and talented our dancers are!!!
